Live / Silent Auction Saturday, May 15, 2010 All Day
Dear Friend of Douglass Youth Golf Club,
I would like to invite you to participate in a very special event. For the first year our organization will be holding a live/silent auction on May 15th, 2010 at the New ShoWare Center in Kent, WA.
Our organization is celebrating 5 years, of providing life skills, leadership skills, arts and crafts and the game of golf to at risk, disadvantaged and youth of color ages 6-18. It is through our program that our students are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in life. Our students learn the importance of discipline, self-esteem, self-motivation, and self respect. Our program aims at producing productive citizens, and quality golfers that not only qualify for high school and college golf teams but become successful students in and outside of the classroom.
We hope that you will partner with Douglass Youth Golf Club by donating to our auction. With the generous support of you and others, we hope to reach our goal of raising $50,000, to support a year round program including, summer camp, instruction, and equipment.
Please consider donating a quality item or service. We would like to ask that any gift certificates be valid for one year from the date of the auction, through May 15, 2011.
Your name, or your company’s name, will be prominently printed on the item display at the event and in the catalog that will be handed out at the door. In addition to this advertising, there are other sponsorship and naming opportunities available. The value of your donation may be tax-deductible. Douglass Youth Golf Club is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization.
Please fill out a Sponsorship and Advertising Form and/or Procurement Form and return it by mail or e-mail at your earliest convenience before May 1st, 2010 in order to be included in our catalog.
