About Douglass Youth Development Program 
Douglass Youth Development Program is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of underprivileged youths through golf instruction and life coaching. Your participation in this event gives these local kids the opportunity to foster skills through an outreach golf program for an entire year. Our teaching philosophy is based of a quote from our organization's namesake, Frederick Douglass, "Without a struggle, there can be no progress." We instill this into each of our students letting them knowthat adversity only makes us stronger and that you only become success in golf and in life when you are willing to put in the work it takes to succeed. The support that we receive from organizations and individuals is critical to the success of the Douglass Youth Development Program. We are requesting your support. Your donation will go toward PGA instruction for our students, assisting students with purchasing equipmemt, transportation, education enrichment, and fees associated with playing golf. We are also expanding our services in include more education support services and scholarships.
