Douglass Youth Golf is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of underprivileged youths through golf instruction and life coaching. Your participation in this event gives these local kids the opportunity to foster skills through an outreach golf program for an entire year. Entry fee of $150 per player or $600 per team includes green fees, golf carts, range balls, lunch, tee prizes, and a chance to win a host of other amazing prizes. Competition consists of 18 holes of stroke play in a 4-person Scramble format. Prizes will be awarded for 3 categories: gross score for the top 6 teams, net score for the top 6 teams, and most money money raised for Douglass Youth Golf Club top 6 teams. That means almost every team walks away with a prize while contributing to a great cause! Team prizes total $10,000 and include Ping Rapture Drivers, a Weekend Golf Getaway, Riverbend Range Cards, Callaway Gift Cards, rounds of golf plus carts at local public and private courses, golf lessons from local PGA Professionals, dozens of top of the line golf balls, and much more. Entries close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2008. Donations will still be accepted up until 7:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10. Location: Riverbend Golf Complex
